Sue Canavan | Founder & Principal
After spending 20 years in the salon industry Sue decided it was time too open her own salon. Thus, Aura Salon was born January of 2002. Aura Salon is now a thriving business with its large family of stylist.
Feeling education and product knowledge were two of the most important tools she could provide to both, budding stylists and those with years of experience. Sue encourages in house as well as on site academy classes. Sue herself has attended numerous courses at Institute of Courage Topanga, CA, Graham Webb New York City, New York and many others. She continues to grow in a forever growing industry.
Sue is the heart of Aura Salon and her passion and dedication is to the art of hairstyling. And this is what gives Aura its amazing atmosphere.
Kim | Stylist
Kim has been a stylist since 1995 and has been with Aura since it opened in 2002. She is one of Aura’s top stylists. She has extensive training as a master colorist and keeps herself updated with the latest and greatest in the industry. With training from The academy for Goldwell of New England in CA, Graham Webb in New York City, NY and many others. Kim has also gained herself a reputation as the premier wedding and prom stylist on the South Shore.

Kerin | Stylist
Kerin has been in this vocation since 2001. Educated at Blaine Hair Academy Boston. Kerin has furthered her education attending numerous classes and seminars. Kerin is a Goldwell Certified Colorist and provides her clients with the most modern styles and trends. Kerin also is certified in Brazilian Blowout Treatments, a non chemical treatment that leaves that hair with lustrous frizz free shine. Knowing the needs and listening gives Kerin the expertise to ease a client into a comfortable everyday style to a night time look, effortlessly.

Amanda | Stylist
Amanda has been a stylist since 2001. Educated at Blaine Hair Academy Boston, Amanda furthered her training at Toni & Guy Studio in New York City where she learned cutting edge styles. She is also a Goldwell Certified Colorist. Amanda also brings to Aura her expertise in Hair Extensions and avant grade updo’s. From classic to contemporary, Amanda can provide the best style for the client’s needs.

Merri | Stylist
Merri has an extraordinary knowledge of learning to style hair. She has been a stylist with Aura for several years now. Merri has such a passion to excel and grow, she grasps the entire industry of beauty and runs with it, to be able to share with clients. She is highly trained in all aspects of haircutting, Coloring, Creative highlighting and updos.

Stacey | Stylist
Stacey has been a stylist since 2005. She has worked with Goldwell Color for the past 5 years and takes every available opportunity to educate herself in the latest cutting and coloring techniques. Stacey excels in creative cutting and color as well as make-up and up styles. On her off time she gained more experience thru taking part in doing hair and make-up for fashion shows and requested photo shoots. She is an amazing stylist with rare talent and enjoys being able to share that with each client.

Carly | Stylist
Carly has been a top stylist for nearly a decade. Trained at Blaine in Boston, Carly furthered her training at Bumble and Bumble University NYC. Carly also has had extensive training in Goldwell, L’Oreal, Redken and Wella Color. Carly’s upbeat and positive personality will make you feel confident and ready for that style change you desire.

Sarah | Stylist
Sarah, the newest addition to the Aura Team has been practicing her craft since 2009. Sarah is very knowledgeable in Goldwell Color and especially enjoys the creative side of styling that allows you to take a risk and think outside the box. With effortless talent and much ambition she strives to be the best in all areas of this business. Whether its that perfect cut and color or an upstyle for a special night out Sarah is up for the challenge and does it with ease.

Patricia | Stylist
Patricia comes to join the Aura Team with 15 years experience and had recently been written up in the Milton Times as one of the top stylists in the area. With complete knowledge of Coloring and Cutting and such passion for her work she will take on any challenge. Patricia keeps herself updated with every available educational class that allows her to excel and grow as a stylist. She is very driven by perfection and Shines in all areas of her craft.

Constantine | Stylist
Constantine is Aura Salons most experienced stylist with over 30 years of expertise in all areas of cosmetology. His vast knowledge, outstanding service and passion for learning have earned him a reputation for excellence. Constantine’s personality will keep you coming back. He’ll keep you entertained your whole visit and when you leave you will look fabulous. He is also a master colorist and enjoys doing both color and trendy styles.

Rachael | Jr. Stylist
Rachael attended Empire Beauty School of Boston and has been a stylist since 2010. She is taking this industry by storm and committing herself to being the best in all areas of cosmetology. She jumps on every opportunity to learn and build herself as a stylist. With true passion Rachael has set her goals high and is on her way towards becoming and expert goldwell colorist and an asset to the Aura Team.

Erin | Jr. Stylist
With complete devotion to the best at her craft Erin joins Aura in hopes to excel in all areas of cosmetology. Erin attended Paul Mitchell School of Cosmetology and has been a stylist since 2010. With much opportunity she is working towards becoming an expert goldwell stylist and asset to the Aura Team.
