Artists

As creative director and owner of Aura Salon1155, Sue Canavan keeps all of the colorists and stylist current with the latest techniques and treatments. She schedules classes, workshops, and trade shows for her designers to attend and grow. She also keeps herself up to date on all the latest hair trends by attending workshops. She is very proud that Aura Salon1155 has been voted by clients the "Best Salon" in Quincy for over 11 years.

Kim places a high value on listening, consulting, and respecting her clients. Focusing on the client's needs is the key to her success. She will personally educate you about how to style you hair and any products you may need. Kim has been trained at the Graham Webb Academy in NYC and many Goldwell Academy classes.

Melanie believe the when your hair looks good, you feel good too! She has formal style training with KMS and Goldwell. Balayage & Ombre are her specialty. She is always staying on top of the latest trends, product knowledge, cutting techniques, and styles to make sure you have the best color and cut possible. She tailors to each individual to make sure you have a unique look.

Sarah has been a master stylist out of Boston for almost 10 years now.  She brings with her excellent knowledge and theory of color and cutting.  Balayage and ombre are Sarah's forte'!  
Sarah is constantly watching the trends and educating herself on the latest looks.

Maureen Lamie has been in the beauty industry for more than 20 years. Two things that are most rewarding to Maureen in the Industry are making people look and feel good about themselves.  "I enjoy a good challenge whether it's a great haircut or a fabulous hair color makeover.  
The best compliment is someone else complimenting my work.  I also attend regular training classes with Goldwell to keep up with the latest trends that everyone wants."  

Cancellation Policy

All services must be booked with a credit card due to the Covid-19.    

Your appointment is important to us! Less than 24 hours notice of cancellation will result in a charge to 50% of the reserved amount. No shows will be charged 100% of the reserved service amount.

There will be a PPE charge of $3.00 per person due to Covid-19.

We are open 7 days a week please call for times as they do change.

Salon Policy

During Covid-19......You must be in a mask at all times

                            Please enter through the back door

                            If you are feeling ill on the day of your appointment you may cancel with no penalty fee 

                            No lap tops or large bags will be allowed in the salon

                            You may bring your wallet, cellphone, and keys.

                            We are taking credit cards at this time

                            No children allowed in the salon during your service 

                            There are no walk-in appointments at this time 


     Please avoid wearing your best outfit.

Although we try to practice cleanliness, it's hard to avoid possible color and/or bleach stains in the process.
     Bring one to three photo references to show what look you're inspired by. This will ensure you and your stylist are clear on what the finished result should be.

​If you're running late

     If you are running 10 minutes late, please give the salon a courtesy call.

Depending on how late you are, rescheduling may be an option.

     If you are running 30 minutes late, it will be very hard to achieve your desirable end result. It will be best to reschedule your appointment for a later date.

    A long delay makes things worse for each customer who follows, and that’s unfair to clients who arrive on time.

                     If you no show on your appointment you will be charged for the missed appointment.
